I remember the first time I reached the swine prince where you're suppose to ignore the little pig in the back or the main boss will just molest you. I haven't experimented a lot though, but generally a marking strategy is incredibly strong, especially for bosses. Not a big fan of the abomination, vestal, grave robber, jester or the leper (especially the leper). I really like using Arba/Hound/Bounty/Man at Arms(or Helion). I generally try to focus on two basic parties at a time, eventually leveling up more parties so I can not only have reserve parties, but also to get some materials to further upgrade my town (especially the smith/guild). Doing a yellow dungeon with level 3 characters is pretty hard when your armor/weapons are only level 2, and your abilities are only level 2 as well. The bosses will all drop their usual loot, which means that you can farm certain bosses somewhat easier, if you so wish. The yellow and red dungeons aren't as bad, assuming that the blacksmith and guild are equal or superior level to what your characters level is. These are used to summon the Crocodillian and 3 of the Darkest Dungeon bosses. A full list of trinkets that can be used for boss summoning can be found below.įor this purpose I have created 4 new trinkets. if you’ve equipped a head trinket from the Collector, the Cultists will summon Collector for you to fight. To summon the boss you wish to fight, just equip the trinket associated with that boss!Į.g. The Cultists will summon a random boss if left alone for the first round, killing themselves in the process. Only 1 of the Cultists needs to survive to complete the summoning at the very end of the first round. The Roaming encounter (which is guaranteed in the region they’re roaming) is a ritual summoning, which allows you to replay any boss fight in Darkest Dungeon. However, for those that crave the void, the first round should be spent observing the cultists, as they engage in a summoning ritual. The encounter is completely dismissable, as the cultists boast a healthy 1 HP each and simply killing them will let you avoid all possible harm. Roaming Cultists adds a new roaming encounter to Darkest Dungeon.
